POLICY
Every
effort must be made to ensure that everyone is provided
with a safe and healthy place in which to work and
Bee jay Design P/L (T/A Ace Glass Services) will comply
with the relevant legislation, codes and standards.
Safety
is a team commitment involving managers, supervisors,
contractors, suppliers and employees working together
through consultation and co-operation. Any individual
observing unsafe or unhealthy acts or a situation
is expected to address the situation immediately and
directly with the person or persons involved.
Occupational
Health and Safety Committees and accredited representatives
will be given every assistance to do their duties.
Information,
instruction and training in safe methods of work,
relevant legislation, safety procedures, Etc will
be provided to all relevant personnel where any lack
of knowledge is perceived.
Safety
attitudes and performance of managers, supervisors,
contractors, suppliers and employees will be assessed
regularly together with other performance indicators.
Bee
Jay Design P/L use OH&S Management System to monitor
and to control their work activities on sites with
the objective of maintaining and ensuring a safe working
environment for all its personnel.
